Addressing gaps at a pivotal moment for Latin American agriculture
Food and agriculture companies sourcing from Latin America face growing pressure to reduce and report the agricultural emissions embedded in their supply chains, with regulatory forces turning net-zero commitments into specific, measurable sourcing requirements. At the same time, these supply chains face increasingly volatile climate conditions, making the transition to regenerative farming practices not just a reporting imperative, but a supply resilience strategy.

Together, this offering pairs Regrow's carbon modelling science, primary data collection infrastructure, and landscape-level supply shed analysis — now anchored in Latin America through its merger with Plataforma PUMA — with Soil Capital's Scope 3 insetting certification framework and farmer engagement model, trusted by leading food industry actors. This is the same GHG Protocol LSRS-validated approach that underpins Soil Capital's programs across Europe and Latin America.
Built on a proven foundation
The partnership builds on a track record spanning two continents. Since 2022, Soil Capital's ISO 14064-2 and GHG Protocol LSRS-validated Scope 3 program has run with Regrow's DNDC model at its core. The program, thoroughly tested in the demanding European market, has delivered for both climate impact and farmer livelihood, enabling the climate mitigation of over 1,160,000 tCO2e and €21.1M in direct payments to farmers.
That foundation extends to Latin America. Since 2024, Soil Capital and Plataforma PUMA (now PUMA by Regrow) have been delivering the SAI Platform Argentina Peanuts Project, a 3-year landscape-scale insetting initiative covering over 7,500 hectares across 42 farms. The innovative program has demonstrated how PUMA by Regrow's data collection and quantification capabilities, combined with Soil Capital's certification framework and corporate partnerships, can produce credible, LSRS-aligned Scope 3 outcomes in Argentine row crop systems.
