FluroSat is proud to announce that it was named the winner of  "Unlocking Value of Artificial Intelligence in the Food System" award presented by Alibaba Group at the inaugural Seeds & Chips - The Global Food Innovation Summit held in Melbourne, Australia, 3 - 5 September 2019.

The award was dedicated to business that uses the possibilities of AI most aptly to benefit our food system. It honours special recognition on innovative solutions that help progress towards a sustainable future. Award winner was evaluated based on technology innovation, scalability and the possible impact it will have on people or planet.

FluroSat's agronomic analytics engine, FluroSense led to its win at the conference with its science-based capability to as it applies agricultural science, machine learning algorithms, remote sensing and integrated scientific crop models to automatically asses plant health, detects crop stress and direct input applications.

The Summit is a 3-day global agribusiness and food conference that featured former US Secretary of State John Kerry and Mars' Chief Agricultural Office Dr Howard-Yana Shapiro as some of its keynote speakers. It attracted more than 3,000 attendees from international and Australian food and agribusinesses to join in conversations that aim to solve our biggest food challenges.
