Regrow Selected for Société Générale’s Global Markets Incubator

Regrow has been chosen to join Société Générale’s flagship Global Markets Incubator (GMI), dedicated to developing climate solutions for the financial industry.

Regrow is proud to be one of eleven new sustainability-focused start-ups selected to join Société Générale’s flagship Global Markets Incubator (GMI), dedicated to developing groundbreaking solutions for the financial industry.

From a selection pool of over 140 applicants, these start-ups are addressing some of the finance industry’s biggest ESG concerns, including carbon emissions quantification, impact tracking and measurement, Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCM), and biodiversity.

Founded in 1864 to support the development of trade and industry, Société Générale is one of the leading financial services groups in Europe. The Group initially launched the GMI programme in 2018 to boost start-up collaborations, mix expertise, and deliver innovative solutions to capital markets. This year, the Group doubled the number of participants and welcomed its first sustainability-focused cohort in support of its offering for corporate, financial institution and private investor clients, who will benefit from innovative solutions adapted to their ESG goals.

Each of the companies will participate in a six-month program to rapidly advance, test, deploy and expose their products and services to the Group’s business environment. Regrow’s work with Société Générale will focus on finding better ways to preserve biodiversity and ecosystems. Société Générale can take concrete actions in favor of biodiversity through dedicated banking solutions and looks to further develop its offering by proposing innovative services.
